 Montana Hi-Line litter.  Whelped 2-20-18, 4 girls and 4 boys, futurity nominated.

"the “Montana Hi-Line” refers to the northern part of Montana that is adjacent to US Highway 2 – or more or less about the first 100 miles of Montana that lies south of the Canadian border. The full Hi-Line in Montana stretches from the North Dakota to the Idaho border, for a distance of more than 650 miles. A trip down the Hi-Line is, due to this distance, a long one. (See the Hi-Line Maps page for maps of the region).  However, like most Montana residents, when we talk about the Hi-Line we generally mean that part of Montana on US Highway 2 that is between the North Dakota border on the east side and the Rocky Mountain Front on the west side. Shelby, Montana, the county seat of Toole County, is located in north central Montana, approximately 30 miles south of the Canadian border and about 80 miles east of Glacier National Park.

4-3-18: Six weeks old.  Wt. 2,610g.


She did not want to straighten out her back for either photo, the little rascal...
3-27-18: Five weeks.  Wt. 2,141g.

3-20-18: Day 28.  Wt. 1,752g.



3-13-18: Wt. 1,457g.  Notice the pink on her nose is filling in with pigment.  It will be all filled in in a few weeks.



3-6-18: Wt. 1,019g. Notice they have rolls of loose skin and fat on their muzzles and legs...  They sure eat all the time!



2-27-18: Weight 711g.  All the pups do now is eat, sleep and crawl around a bit.

Her nose color will fill in in a few weeks.

Birth weight 352g.  Description: Normal head, medium color female.
Orange and white Brittanys are born with very light colored spots and blue eyes (eyes are of course closed at birth but soon open).  The spots and eyes will darken over time to the same color as the parents.
