Other Comments:
Honey is a
very mellow,
happy pup.

Max is also
very mellow.
The paper
ball may
have been a
bit large for
him to fetch.

Pepper is the
most active of
the pups.  He
is well within
the normal
range.

Penny is middle
of the road for
this litter.  She
is very sociable.

Strawberry is the
most tentative
of the group.
She will need
a mellow hand
for training.

Lucy is the
most
independent
of the girls.

We feel this is Meadow's best litter.  They all have very nice looking heads.  Also, they are very mellow (for Brittanys) as are all of Med's litters.

Here is what the Volhard's say about mostly 3's: "This dog accepts human leaders easily.  Is best prospect for the average owner, adapts well to new situations and generally good with children and elderly, although it may be inclined to be active.  Makes good obedience prospect and usually has a common sense approach to life."
---------------------------------------------------------------
Social Attraction: All 3's.  Came readily, tail up.

Following: All 3's [Followed readily, tail up] except Pepper.  He also got under foot as he followed (a very puppy thing to do...).

Restraint: The 3's and 5 mean mellow.  The two for Pepper means active!

Social Dominance: All 3's [Cuddles up to tester and tries to lick face]

Elevation Dominance: All 3's [No struggle, relaxed].  They are very used to being handled and are a mellow bunch...

Retrieving: The 3's mean fetched it to the tester.  Lucy had a 1 [picked it up but, did not return with it] and I feel she was distracted so did not return to the tester.  Max had a 4 and I feel that the wad of paper may have been too large for him to easily pick up...

Touch Sensitivity: All 3's, middle of the road response.

Sound Sensitivity: 4's & 3's meaning not shy and also not aggressive or nervous.

Sight Sensitivity: All 3's.  [Looks curiously, attempts to investigate].  They all caught the towel and tried to play with it!

----------------------------------------------------------
Over all, a very consistent litter of pups!  :^)
