Military Tactical Stimulation – for young pups.
Tactical stimulation (between toes)

Head held erect

Head pointed down

Supine position
Thermal stimulation

Tactile stimulation

  1. Tactile stimulation - holding the pup in one hand, the handler gently stimulates (tickles) the pup between the toes on any one foot using a Q-tip. It is not necessary to see that the pup is feeling the tickle. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds. (Figure 1)
  2. Head held erect - using both hands, the pup is held perpendicular to the ground, (straight up), so that its head is directly above its tail. This is an upwards position. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds. (Figure 2)
  3. Head pointed down - holding the pup firmly with both hands the head is reversed and is pointed downward so that it is pointing towards the ground. Time of stimulation 3 - 5 seconds. (Figure 3)
  4. Supine position - hold the pup so that its back is resting in the palm of both hands with its muzzle facing the ceiling. The pup while on its back is allowed to sleep. Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds. (Figure 4)
  5. Thermal stimulation—use a damp towel that has been cooled in a refrigerator for at least five minutes. Place the pup on the towel, feet down. Do not restrain it from moving. Time of stimulation 3-5 seconds.

GCH Warbonnet Summer Wynd Dancer, JH "Dancer" Whelped: 2-14-14.  By: BIS, BISS, GCH, CH RJ'S Sierra Edition, MH x CH Warbonnet Chinook WyndHips: OFA GOOD, OFA #: BS-17373G28F-NOPI.  DNA Profile #: V867214.  Bred by us (Todd & Sari), Dancer finished her show championship winter 2016 winning 3 majors in 3 days at the Portland, OR shows.  She is super at finding, pointing and fetching birds!!  She is also a great hiking, fishing, running and biking companion.  As of Fall, 2017 Dancer is a Grand Champion.  As of 2019 she is a JH (in 1 weekend at a double/double hunt test).
Dancer is an all-a-round fun Brittany to be with!  She is very devoted to her humans, hunts with super intensity, loves to fetch, pulls me like a sled dog when I run her on the bike and is a couch potato in the house.  She is smart as a whip!

True Grits M.C. Ruff-Shod Wyatt O'Dee

Several of Wyatt's ancestors are NASTRA (Shoot to Retreive) Champions (this is not shown on his AKC pedigree).  Wyatt is a superb hunting dog with lots of point and fetch.  He hunts hard all day.  Wyatt is great with the family and gets along well with other dogs.  His hips are PENNHIP rated.
From Tana:
The titles not noted on the pedigree include:  True Grits Cinnamon Sage O'Dee was runner up in his Western Futurity.  Dr Jacs Trugritz Master Yoda Odee JH was central futurity dual dog winner the same year.  Trugritz Sagacious Brier was NSTRA pointed. Tic Tac Cinnamon Sage was a NSTRA champion.  I believe that Granmars Sweet Dreams had AKC show points.
