'Pickering's Women' (see Annie Jump Cannon
above). She discovered that a particular
type of variable star known as a Cepheid
could be used as a distance marker, making
it possible to determine astronomical
distances to objects.

 Just a few hours after birth on 2-14-14. Weight on 2-14-14: 416g Orange and white Brittanys are born with very light colored spots and blue eyes (eyes are of course, closed at birth). The spots and eyes will darken over time to the same color as the parents. |
